INSPIRE PROGRAMS

Innovative Science Programme for the Inspiration of Research(INSPIRE) is a unique programme designed with Centre for Public Understanding of Science(CPUS). The director of CPUS, Dr. T.S. Channesh, a senior researcher and a passionate science communicator lead the programme.

This is a typical inspiration programme for the broader scientific thinking and imagination of young minds. It provides a platform to the students to widen their learning horizon beyond the conventional reach. It also provides the students to focus their insights with deep understanding and perception of learning. Students are exposed to fundamental issues in science and their interrelations with higher  programmes.

The programme is planned with specially designed lecturers and watching select science movies with a mandatory discussion. It includes visit to specialized laboratories, spending day out with scientists and personal mentoring to frame their goals. The participants are provided with full liberty while learning and allowed in discourses. In a way it is nurturing programme of science.
