Swach Bharath Abhiyan Walkathon was organized by NCC Students of Soundarya P U and Soundarya state school students on October 1st to “Identify and sensitize vendors” about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene as a part of Swach Bharath Abhiyan and Swachhata Hai seva.The event was inaugurated by PU principal Mr.Mahabaleshwar Tunga and School principal Smt.Chinnamma Kaverappa.A total of 150 cadets participated in the Walkathon,Which went through Ramaiah Enclave,Naga sandra Metro station ,IKEA and adjacent areas.Army NCC officers from PU wing Mr.Peerya nayak and Deepak C B from school wing initiated the Walkathon to promote cleanliness and community involvement
