Soundarya Composite PU College conducted a remarkable event to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26th to honor the soldiers who fought in the Kargil War. The day is marked by various activities such as speeches, cultural programs, documentaries, and exhibitions that highlight the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. Students and faculty members often participated in these events to pay tribute to the heroes of the Kargil conflict and to spread awareness about the significance of the day.
Kargil Vijay Diwas, celebrated on July 26th every year, marks the anniversary of India’s victory in the Kargil War against Pakistan in 1999.
A Model of war memorial like the Amar Jawan Jyoti in New Delhi, was placed and all dignitaries and NCC and NSS cadets paid their respects by laying wreaths.
Guard of honour was organized to honor the soldiers who fought in the war.
Naib Subedar Dilip Kumar from 30 KAR INF BN NCC ,an official was invited to share his experiences and insights about the Kargil War, inspiring the younger generation and fostering a sense of patriotism.
The Management of SCPUC, Sri Soundarya Manjappa,The Chairman.Mr. Varun Kumar , The Managing Trustee, Capt. Mahabaleshwar Tunga ,the Principal, Smt.Krupa R Dev, the vice Principal, Smt. Chinnamma Kaverappa, the Principal of Soundarya School, Smt. Suma Rao, the soundarya CBSE School were present in this Tribute.This followed by the singing of the national anthem, instilling a sense of unity and national pride.
These activities collectively ensure that the sacrifices of the soldiers are remembered and honored, and the spirit of patriotism is kept alive among the citizens.
