Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

For the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti in a college, led by NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) students, the event was organized Began with a peace prayer or bhajan, like Raghupathi Raghava, that was dear to Mahatma Gandhi.Floral tributes were paid to a portrait or statue of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Paramesh ,HOD of Kannada Department delivered a speech highlighting Gandhi’s contributions to India’s independence and his principles of non-violence.NSS students, following Gandhi’s principle of cleanliness, college organised a campus or community cleanliness drive. This involved picking up litter, planting trees, or beautifying certain areas of the Students took an oath to keep the Nation Clean.
These activities, organized by NCC and NSS students, would make for a meaningful and engaging Gandhi Jayanti celebration.
