To mark the occasion of International Yoga Day, Soundarya Composite PU College organized a two-day yoga awareness program aimed at promoting physical well-being and mental harmony among students.
📅 Day 1 – 21/06/2025
Venue: College Quadrangle
The Second PU students gathered in the college quadrangle and actively participated in a guided yoga session. With calmness in the air and focus on breath, students practiced a series of basic asanas under the guidance of trained instructors. The session instilled a sense of discipline and relaxation, emphasizing the role of yoga in daily life.
📅 Day 2 – 23/06/2025
Venue: Seetha Soundarya Auditorium
The First PU students were introduced to yoga in a structured indoor session. The program included demonstrations of different asanas, the Surya Namaskara, and a short talk on the importance of yoga for youth. Students were encouraged to incorporate yoga into their routines for improved concentration and emotional balance.
Both sessions reflected the institution’s commitment to holistic education, where wellness is as vital as academic excellence.
